You know how the stereotype is that people in France are rude and condescending especially toward Americans? Based on our recent trip to Paris and to this this restaurant in particular, I would say my experience couldn't be further from the truth. We were greeted warmly (even if you can't speak French be polite and start off with Bon Jour! when you enter any business), the staff helped us to order, and frequently checked up on us to make sure we were doing well. At one point, one of the employees noticed we had a bag of pastries we had picked up on the way and offered to keep them cool in their refrigerator.

As for the food, it was fantastic. I'm really picky when it comes to burgers (it's one of my favorite food groups) but these were outstanding and easily better than most I've ever had in the States. Unfortunately, a return visit would be pretty difficult but I wanted others to know how much we enjoyed our visit. Thanks to all the wonderful employees at Big Ferdinand for a memorable visit!

The best burgers (or I should say Hamburgés) in the world. Better than in the US (who would have thought so?? Lol)

They are uber tasty. Their fries are heaven. Perfectly cut and cooked. And their ketchup... You'll never want to have Heinz again. It is unctuous and you can actually taste tomatoes.

    Big pluses:
-They have a VERY yummy vegetarian portobello burger. Approved by non vegetarians too!
-Their staff is very friendly, funny and welcoming. And fast too.
    -Nice seating indoor and outdoor
    - With parking for handicapped in front of the restaurant!

    Small minus:
    - No vegan options (yet?)
    - Prices are a bit high (count 16 euros for a sandwich with fries and drink) but so worth it once in a while.
    - Wish they had some membership rewards to offset that a little.

So glad I have big Fernand nearby.
